The last couple of years were based outside Killarney but this year we
we have moved to Dingle to mix things up a bit. The Climbing and
Mountaineering possibilities are endless, not to mention the craic to
be had in Dingle.Grapevine Hostel in the centre of Dingle
Let me know asap to confirm on accommodation. -

Kerry Meet – 24th to 26th August
Accommodation – Grapevine Hostel in the centre of Dingle
I have booked 21 spaces for the Friday and Saturday night, there is also the option for those who wish to extend the trip to book for Thursday or Sunday or even longer.
Whats on Offer:
Climbing:
http://wiki.climbing.ie/index.php/Irish_Climbing_Route_Database#Co._Kerry

Dunshean Head – about 10 minutes drive from Dingle, this is one of the easiest sea crags to access in the country and has a great range of climbs [with good gear] to suit all levels. It is a particularly good crag for a first experience to Sea Cliff Climbing.
Gap of Dunloe – About 50 minutes from Dingle, there are more crags [&climbs] than you can shake a stick at. There are some really nice climbs for those who are just starting to lead climb, gear is super. For the more advanced he challenges sore after that. There are still plenty of untouched lines.
Play at Height – the Largest indoor climbing centre in the country is based in Dingle so we are literally covered if the weather takes a turn..of course most will take to the hills.
Hill Walking / Scrambling / Mountaineering.
The Dingle Penninsula has 3 distinctive groups of mountains – The Sleeve Mish at the Eastern end,  Stradbally in the centre and the Brandon chain to the west – the views and quality of the walks are unsurpassed.
The Iveragh Penninsula – an hour away not that you need to go there with what is on our door step but I might have a run up Howlin ridge on the way down on Friday, just to break the Journey.
Two years ago 15 IMC members climbed Howlin Ridge on this meet between the Friday and Saturday, I suspect it won’t be their last.
The Skelligs – I have had 3 attempts but have got thwarted by the gulf stream weather cycles but am hoping to get out on the Saturday or Sunday which will still leave plenty of time to climb or hike in the afternoon.
