SUMMARY:Dal Riada Climbing Club - Fairhead Meet 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Fairhead Climbing Meet is organised by the Dal Riada Climbing Club\, hosted by the McBride family and supported by Mountaineering Ireland. The aim of the meet is to bring the climbing community together to enjoy the world class climbing at Fairhead in Co. Antrim. \nThe Meet is a weekend-long event\, typically climbers arrive on the Friday afternoon and climb on Saturday\, Sunday & Monday. The meet is open to all climbers who have the skills\, knowledge and experience to be able to climb at Fairhead – both on trad routes and boulders. \nThe bouldering is relatively accessible (many groups out and crash pads out)\, but in terms of the trad climbing it’s advisable to be comfortable climbing VS+. \nIn recent years there have also been two climbing talks\, one on Friday evening and one on Saturday evening\, usually starting around 9:00pm. The cost of entry to the talks is covered by your ticket. Camping is generously provided on the McBride family farm\, the cost of which is covered by your ticket.
