    Access to Luggala

We recently learnt that access to Luggala has been cut off. Noel was able to confirm this with Mountainering Ireland who confirmed that the new owners have closed it but on a temporary basis

    In summary…

    1. access if not  possible at the moment. The gates are locked, probation signs are posted and a guard in on duty.
    2. regular communication between Helen (MI) and the new owners is on going, ie weekly.
    3. the owners cite bracken clearance and on site filming as the reasons for restrictions.
    4. a re-opening date has not been established.

The core message is not if they will re open, but when?

So as not to jeopardise the re opening I would like to ask each of us to respect the current situation
