Marseille Sport Climbing – South of France

Sport Climbing in the Calanques Parc & Bouches-du-Rhône region near Marseille, South of France during the first week of April 2025

With an average of 300 days of sun in this part of France and average temp 16-19c during April should ensure perfect climbing conditions

As well as Calanques there any numerous other climbing areas within an hour or two drive in the Bouches-du-Rhône region

The town of Cassis (50mins drive from Marseille) will be our base, there is also great swimming in the Mediterranean and tons of picturesque beaches and places to eat/drink nearby

We are flying into Marseille Airport Wed 1st-6th April, there are other variations available for dates around this time

The trip is open to IMC club members, you should be a proficient sport climber at 5c grade and above and know how to clean a sport anchor at the top of a route
