Hut Work Weekend #meitheal-oibre

Your Hut needs a Springclean and a lick of paint.

The plan: 10.00 Sat 7th February at Hut. There is a list of light jobs that have been identified at the Hut, mostly painting and cleaning, with some outside gardening work, and possibly a shelf needs fixing! All very exciting stuff altogether. We are looking for a crew of 15 or so…

There will be a late lunch, and some wild Wicklow venison goulash for dinner. Those staying over should bring their own beverages/sleeping bag/toothbrush unless agreed in advance to share with another, of course. There will be a fire that needs sitting around to help dry the paint, indeed this can be watched happen if the fireside conversation isn’t up to much… breakfast on Sunday will be mostly coffee!

You will need old painting clothes, any brushes, rollers you have and any DIY tools you wanna try out, loppers, rakes, shears. Gloves/boots if outdoors work is your thing.

If you have any recently opened paint you want to donate, there are many nooks, windows etc that could all do with a touch up…and colours are not a problem! Please let me know.

We will need to know numbers for food by Wednesday at the latest please!
