The best selection of climbing in France is here in the Nice area at St Jeannet, which is one hour by bus from Nice airport.
Its main face has a total of ten long multi pitch climbs ( 10/14 pitch) at grade 5+ or under, and another twenty at the higher grades.
For those who prefer single pitch sports climbing St Jeannet also has the La Source area, which boasts another 70 single pitch climbs at grade 4 & 5.
For those that fancy some Deep Water Soloing there is Beaulieu and there is also some spectacular climbing on the crags overlooking the Harbour of Monaco .
We are planning on heading to St Jeannet first where we will stay for 3 nights climbing for 3 days. Then a one hour bus journey brings us back to Nice on the 8th and we then climb at La Turbie (overlooking Monaco) for last days climbing.
Flights to Nice return approx. €170
Transport in South of France local bus. Costs total €10
Accommodation St Jeannet hostel or B&B NO costs available yet, Nice Hostel, cost €20 per night
This is open to all climbing levels, the venues have been chosen to accommodate beginners and advanced climbers, and the deep water soloing on the Med for the swimmers!
