High Altitude Medicine – Teams Talk

Listen Up! Esteemed Mountaineer and ER Medic, Renée Farrar, will give an online presentation covering mainly high altitude medicine and touching on hypothermia. She will share some interesting Case Studies and outline the new guidelines. It’ll be a practical, interesting and memorable presentation with a chance to ask questions at the end.

Renee is a medical doctor with a Diploma in Mountain Medicine, and she is currently completing an MSc in Extreme Medicine. She loves to climb and to be outdoors. Renee’s family lives in Ireland, she was born in Donegal and grew up “kinda all over the world, but fortunately spent a long while as a kid near the Mournes.”
