Hill Walking, Camping, Environmental Meet
July 11, 2015 - July 12, 2015
Camp by one of the Wicklow Mountain Lochs, observing the environmental features, flora and fauna on the way in, climb the mountain the next day and look at some more features, preferably peat bog areas.
Area: Mullaghcleevaun Lough.
Equipment needed: binoculars, tent or bivvy bag, cooking equipment and food for 2 mid-day meals, dinner and breakfast.
There may be steep terrain but no rock climbing is intended.
Numbers not to exceed 10.

Rendezvous for start: Car park on the col between Sorrel Hill and Black Hill at 11.00am-11.30am Saturday 11th July.
Route: Hike over Black Hill to the slope which leads to Mullaghcleevaun Summit, then go left and descend to Cleevaun
Lough. Set up camp at SE end of Lough. Possible activities: Study of
recently burned area N of Lough, Deer watching, Flora, Ascend
Mullaghcleevaun and visit peat bog area leading to Tonelagee.
