Zoom Talk: Carnivorous Plants by Ian Lawler

As we climbers and walkers traipse around the Irish uplands we frequently come across some weird looking plants that survive the harsh conditions and lack of nutrients by eating insects to supplement the meagre nutrients in the soil. Ian will be exploring the carnivorous plants we get in Ireland in a talk on the evening of the 21st, some are native – we have 6 terrestrial and 3 aquatic.
Ian is growing some exotic ones all the way from the east and west coasts of North America.
