Climbing in Moorhill Quarry, near Newry

It will be Moorhill quarry..about 10 min drive from Newry and 90 min from M50/M1 junction. Its on Moor hill Road (just off Ballyholland Road.)
Single pitch trad climbing on good quality rock. The Quarry is a suntrap but bring long trousers and sleeves in case of insects. There is Giant Hogweed (poisonous) in the quarry but not near any of the climbing routes. Routes are suitable for beginners but easier if you are comfortable abseiling as abseil access to most routes…or a long walk around.
