Glendo Hike Sun Feb 27th

Gerry Moss is doing a moderate walk, at a modest pace, on Sunday next, starting from the Glendalough Upper Car Park (4 euro fee). We will proceed via Poulanass, bypassing the direct boardwalk up on to the Spinc (as it is in a bad state of repair) to continue west along a forest road for just over 1k to an alternative boardwalk up on to the Spinc. From there we will follow the path up tp Lugduff Gap for our lunch break. Then we traverse Mullacor W to E, descend to the S end of the Derrybawn ridge and traverse the ridge N to point 476, from where we descend to the car park. About 12k in all, 4hr30min., at my pace, much less at yours.
We meet at the upper car park at 10 and will be gone by 10.15. Feel free to join us and also feel free to leave us shuffling in your wake, for what is promised to be a dry day.
