Last year, Kevin Coakley and I had travelled to the Bregaglia in Switzerland, with a view to climbing the infamous Piz Badile. Weather and conditions worked against us, so this year we decided to try again. We were joined by experienced IMC members, Vincent ‘Doc’ Astier, and Barry Watts.
